I have an all sapphire ring. Purple center stone and white sapphire side stones… I need to get a picture loaded to my new computer…but yeah, I freaking love it.

Personaly, I find myself way more excited to talk to the girl about her ring when it is something different! Your ring is beautiful. <3 <3

Moonstone is gorgeous and one of my favorite gemstones. I love your ring, it’s beautiful and I like the modern style.

I love your ring! It looks like it could belong to an elf princess from Lord of the Rings or something, so special and magical looking. And don’t worry about what other people would think, I have a v big diamond but love yours too, it’s all about what is special to you and your Fiance and it’s in such a great setting, very cool. x

MrsSnowMountain: Just wanted to say that you’re my hero for your page 4 comment 😉 as you put it, “Someone had to say it!

And on a side note, I’m also a poor student with loans, so I feel your pain. But you got such an awesome deal on your ring! It’s beautiful. It looks vintage to me, which I looove!

I love your ring. I got a peach sapphire in a rose gold setting, created by a local LA artist, just for me. I love it. It was $3500. I was very clear about not wanting an expensive ring, because there are 50 other things I would rather have…just seems like a waste of money based 100% in materialism and because we have this notion that we need a diamond ring to show how much we are loved/how much money we have. Also, my fiance was really bothered by the idea of diamonds for moral reasons. We watched a lot of documentaries about blood diamonds and really none of them are conflict free. I’ve only had one person say somthing shitty about my ring, and I just ignored it. Most people are super complimentary.
