If I was going to Vegas for my honeymoon (which we’ve seriously considered) I’d definitely want to stay at The Venetian, but maybe Paris or the Bellagio as well. The ambiance is just amazing. I’ve heard great things about most of the Cirque Dis Solei shows but never seen one myself. I can’t remember where I’ve been as far as restaurants so I’ll have to get back to you on that one. Also I’m not a big drinker but one of my must go to places in Vegas is Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar inside of Harrah’s. The bar is shaped like a guitar, they have great live music, and it has an amazing relaxed vibe. Enjoy your trip- I’m a little jealous ๐Ÿ™‚

You should definitely try to see Cirque du Soleil while you’re  there. One of the Vegas shows (I think it’s “O”) is supposed to be amazing.

I’ve been to vegas 5 times (though always with friends). The MGM has an awesome pool area, with like 5 pools and a lazy river. They also have an “adult’s only” pool that you have to pay to get into but it gets you away from kids and there’s a DJ and alcohol. I just loved the MGM b/c it is huge and there are seriously tons of different places to eat and things to do.

As far as romantic hotels, I would go with either The Venetian or Bellagio. I’ve never stayed in either (mostly b/c they were expensive) but the Venitian is just gorgeous with the gondalas and Italian themes.

I recommed staying centrally located on the strip so that it’s easier to get to other places.

If you like sushi, go to RA in the Fashion Mall. It’s the best sushi i’ve ever had!

My sister loves the Wynn and Encore within the Wynn is brand new.

She said after their last trip that Hard Rock had an amazing pool area.

Oh forgot almost…I have a bm (my bff)  who went to the resort area at Lake Las Vegas and while it’s a short drive to all the action, it’s like a world away with a very beautiful feel.  I think there’s a Ritz Carlton and a Loew’s.

Here’s a pic.  I think if we went, that’s exactly where we’d go!  It’s beautiful!!! looks like a coastal resort or lake resort in Italy!

and one I found online too from the Loews!  (also very nice place)

the Loews even has its own beach!  Lots of firepits and cozy verandas at night too.  I’m sold.  If we ever go there, we’re staying probably at the Loews!

How cool is that?  The desert and mountains in the background and you with your own lake and beach?  Vegas just a short drive away?  It’s like a tropical, desert, and casino vacay all rolled into one.

I’ve been to Vegas four times (going on five for my bachelorette!), and have gone to the Fontana lounge in the Bellagio every time.  It’s a hidden gem.  They have a deck overlooking the light show.  It’s a perfect place to relax, get some fancy drinks and snacks and watch the fountain show.

I’ve always wanted to stay at the Bellagio. Instead we end up staying in Del Webb (R’s grandma lives in Vegas) – just a little step down!
