Our wedding will be fairly small – about 60 guests and we are maxed out on our budget….. What do we do about speakers?

Following because I have the same exact problem and was just thinking about this the other day!
We’re doing the same thing, we’re either borrowing speakers from family or renting. I’ve seen speaker rentals listed for way under $100 and because it’s a smaller wedding I don’t think it really needs a complicated set up. That’s just what I plan to do, good luck!
Our venue was at a hotel, and I used my iPod for reception and dinner music. We hooked it up to their sound system.
As I am thinking that is not an option where your reception will be at, I’d say you would have to borrow or rent speakers.
I used my iPod for our reception as well, I have a Bluetooth speaker that was loud enough to be heard, but the venue also had a sound system I could have hooked it up to. My speaker was only $39.99 and I use it quite often still 🙂
Not sure if its loud enough, but ue boom has great reviews for a bt speaker, and the only one (i know of) that you can link two for better coverage.
Another vote here for the UE boom speakers! We’ll be using them outside in a small but decent sized lawn area for about 60 guests. Love that you can link two of them to your phone or iPod.
