- Wedding: December 2016
Our wedding was Wednesday and it was awesome! It was so chill and fun and beautiful! Things didn’t go seamlessly, but it really didn’t make any difference. Darling Husband was walking over to give our officiant a cup of coffee before the ceremony and as he walked past me the lid popped off and he dumped a whole cup of coffee down my dress! Seconds before we were supposed to walk over for the ceremony! It bounced off my thigh and dumped everywhere all over the bottom of my dress. He jumped into action and grabbed a t-shirt out of his truck to wipe it off. I just sort of froze, trying to figure out what the hell I should do. He got it dried off and we figured out the coffee just sort of blended in to the fold of my dress, so crisis averted. Our ceremony was short and sweet then we went to our favorite restaurant and had dinner and cupcakes and just socialized. It was exactly what I wanted and so much fun! Here are a few guest pics and 2 portraits Darling Husband shot while we were out shooting the wedding party. Darling Husband is a professional photographer, his best friend and his wife are also. 2 of my SIL’s are too, so we should have a ton of awesome pro pics before too long!
Somebody on here was talking about buying getting ready robes and I sarcastically said something about getting ready onesies then realized that would actually be amazing! So here are all my girls in our getting ready onesies! Disregard my duck lips, I was adapting to my lipstick!
My Maid/Matron of Honor did my hair and I loved it!

The portraits Darling Husband took. I love them! The close up one I was standing on a frozen cow pond lol! Looks way more glamorous than it really was!
And because I’m a ham…
And one of my favorite moments of the day…
My exFIL pretty much raised me from the time I was 16. He was just as close to me as my own dad. He passed suddenly in July and left a huge hole in all of our lives. He collected arrowheads his whole life and we shared a love of them, always sharing our finds. He knew Obsidian ones were my favorite. Over the last few months his loved ones have found arrowheads in totally random places (like in a parking lot!) in moments when they were missing him or needed him. My mom got to our location, got out of her car, looked down and found this. She didn’t know about Father-In-Law and his arrowheads, she just thought it was cool. She showed exMIL (who had recently found one in a moment when she needed his presence) and Mother-In-Law started crying and told my mom the story. After the ceremony they both pulled me aside and showed me what they had found. I already knew about Mother-In-Law and SIL and exH finding them, so I immediately started sobbing. He was there and he wanted us to know. I miss him so much and was so thankful to feel his presence!
So, if you’ve made it this far, thanks! The Bee has been amazing for support and advice and planning help! Stay tuned for a bazillion pro pics!
