My fiancé turned 26 this month and one day after work he said “let’s just get married now so I can be on your health insurance”. We planned in less than two weeks and had a lovely little elopement at a small bed and breakfast/winery. Since our November celebration is already planned, we will still write our own vows and read them in front of all of our friends and family. Everyone seems to be super understanding about our reasons to get the legality out of the way now, since it will end up saving us a lot over the course of the next few months. I got photos back and just wanted to share

I love this so much!!! I’m a big fan of the non-proposal! We also got engaged by mutual agreement. Your bouquet is BEAUTIFUL

Stunning! If it weren’t for my wife’s family, and the fact that this was likely the only wedding they’d ever get for one of their children, this is totally how I would have gotten married – no fuss, just us making it legal in our own sweet way!

Beautiful!!! So are you having a reception at the end of the year? Will you be wearing a wedding dress? I would LOVE to elope as well but don’t think SO is on board 🙁

Thank you all for the love! I am so thrilled with our photographer and how the intimate day turned out.
yes, we are having a reception in November. Initially Hubs was not really on board with elopement as I had brought it up earlier for health insurance reasons. But he did come around! And so did all our family. We had nobody come to the elopement and everyone seems super excited still for the November celebration.
