There are a TON of choices out there when it comes to cakes… you can use GOOGLE to see images… or start by looking for a Bakery in your area, and see what they have showing on their website.

My SO and I are probably going to do something similar.

Our Destination Wedding / Elopement will just be the two of us, so we are having a small cake after our Celebration Dinner.  Probably something “wedding-like” (white, pretty etc)

Then a couple of weeks later, we may have a Get-Together with friends (Champagne – Nibbles – Cake)… that cake will have to feed a bigger group of people, so will be more like a wedding cake in that it most likely will have 2 or more layers.  The idea, is that its theme will be more intune with our Honeymoon… so more fun & light (call it a Bon Voyage Cake).

Honestly, there are 1000s of ideas out there, and some very talented Cake Makers, wording (if you have any at all) will depend on what theme / look you end up going with.

@Uniquebee77:  Not thinking about any writing on the cake, actually considering conveying the “Honeymoon / Bon Voyage message” thru either the theme of the cake (ie something beachy, tropical, etc) OR by using some sort of cute cake topper… I saw one with a Bride & Groom driving off in their car that was marked up “just married” etc.

@julies1949:  Nice assortment of cakes in the OPs colour scheme.
