Wow, why is it so hard for some people to RSVP? You are a lot more patient than I am. Our deadline is this Saturday and I’ll probably start making calls on Tuesday (to allow for those who mailed it out on the last day). We are still missing replies from about 1/2 of our guests (mostly FI’s side). If I were you, I’d call the 14 missing people ASAP. It’s not rude of you, it’s rude of them for not replying in time.

Oh and yes, I remember psych! ๐Ÿ˜€

I agree with the others – they missed the deadline, they start getting harrassed.  Seriously, I don’t understand why returning a postage-paid envelope is so difficult.

I know what you mean. Our deadline was Friday 5/27. We’re still waiting on 19 cards/46 people.

We’ve called, emailed and messaged everyone… and are just waiting to hear back. We’ve got a pretty good idea on all but 19 of them, but it’s still freaking annoying.

I was excitedto find a card in the mailbox yesterday – but it was a family who had already told us theirs would be a week or so late, they were hoping to finalize some work stuff.

It came 2 mail days late…

But no one else has bothered to tell us either way. SO annoying!

@OrchidLove:

Exact same situation as you. Our deadline is also Sat and missing over half of our rsvps. Of course the ones I’m missing are the people I really have no clue if they’re coming not the givens like parents and bridal party, lol. I was also thinking of waiting till next week to bug people.

@tinylittlebird: lol, it’s actually a really neat show.  sooo unlike most murdery mysteries!

heh, I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and graduated in 2000.  I’m so out of the loop of what’s “in”, it’s not funny! LOL!

I’ve emailed, called, texted. Nothing else to do. I know they are alive because friends tell me they keep updating their FB status. Oh well, tomorrow is when I have to decide on my final count and this is what I’m going to send “Since I didn’t hear from you, I guess that means you won’t be able to be at my wedding. I’m sorry we won’t be having you there. Hope to see you over the summer” and that’s it. I’m sure I STILL wouldn’t hear from them. They better not show up because I am not paying for a non-RSVPer Yell

RSVPs are the bane of my existence right now!  Our deadline is Sunday (minor miscalculation on my part when figuring out the date, meant to make it Monday) and we’re still missing more than half of our responses too!   For the most part, I know who is coming and who isn’t, but as we gave our guests meal choices, we absolutely need their response card back to make sure we have that correct!   I don’t know if I’ll start the harrassing on Monday necessarily, but definitely by Thursday if no response has been received.

As others have said before… I will NEVER procrastinate on sending back an RSVP card again!!!
