So we are in NYC and got our bands in the diamond district (Mike at Kent GIA jewellers highly recommended).
I didn’t know what to put with my old mine cut e ring. I wanted something in keeping that would work with the setting. We found this platinum and diamond baguette band and Mike suggested he lowered it and it all works perfectly. Very happy.
we also got my FI’s ring at the same place. He was very straightforward and knew he wanted a 5mm platinum comfort fit band.
Some of you asked what band id put with my e-ring so thought I’d post. Excuse puffy finger pictures – it’s lovely and warm in NYC today and we’d done a lot of walking!

it looks great! I love it!

how does the band look on its own? could you wear it as a stand alone ring if need be?

yeah it’s lovely on its own. That’s why I didn’t want a cut out band…I wanted something that would be pretty without e-ring too.

Oh gosh … I LOVE your band! It looks so amazing and perfect with your gorgeous ERing. They look like long-lost siblings finally reunited. Such a gorgeous set. I love your FI’s band, too. It looks amazing on him.
(Also, your fingers don’t look at all puffy. )
