@anne626: Awww, that’s sweet! Glad it’s bringing you closer together. Fiance and I enjoy riding our motorcycle together. It’s nice to be able to pick up spontaneously on a day when the weather is good and just ride. We get to be close, and see pretty sights and never know where we’ll end up.

Also we make sure that when he gets home from work we always talk about our day and if anything is bothering us before we do anything else. It helps our communication and ensures we don’t try to take things out on each other…

Board games are a lot of fun!  FI and I did a lot of that (not so much anymore, but once in a while we’ll pull them out.)

It’s definitely more fun to play with kids!  I love kid games, I can’t wait to have some haha.

We have been going on lots of little dates like we used to when we first started seeing eachother. We have been swimming, going for dinner, out for walks with the dogs, mini golfing, movie nights & window shopping. All those fun little things you do when your young and in love. We want to feel that way again. Life has gotten so hectic working full time jobs, planning a wedding, renovating a house and looking for a new one. Soemtimes i feel like i’m an old lady already and i am only 22! It feels good to resort back to the simple things and little things in life that make it worthwhile not to mention i feel like we are falling in love all over again. It’s wonderful.

We spend a lot of time exploring NYC, have games nights and movie nights, shopping. No matter what is going on we always have a date night once a week.

We don’t have a teevee either! I think it’s a great thing – everything I want to watch, I can get on teh internets anyway. And it was a big time saver… until I discovered Weddingbee, that is.

While we arent giving up TV we are getting rid of cable. Instead we got something called Roku which is Internet TV. We are doing it so we can save money. It is going to save us a lot in the long run!! We are also planting our own vegetables this spring in hopes that we can save money on buying produce.

That sounds lovely! Sometimes I just want to throw the tv out the window. It can be a lot of fun but I also feel like it discourages communication and I think life might be more fun without it!
