As of this week we have the date officially set for our wedding – the big day will be September 19th, 2015!! We are SO excited. We were originally trying to decide between September and November, and that choice would have affected which hall we could reserve. But we preferred September for the weather, and the hall available in September was much cheaper ($800, versus $1800 for the hall only available in November!).
We met with our priest over the weekend to discuss what we need to do for a Catholic wedding, and set a date. Luckily we met with him Friday, because he told us he had 3 other couples to meet with that weekend and they were all planning for fall 2015 weddings, too! We still weren’t expecting to have our first choice, but September 19th was open, so we went for it!
Then on Monday we got the hall booked, luckily it’s availability was also pretty open, so there were no problems there.
Any other September 2015 brides out there? What do you have planned so far!? π

Congrats!!! Yes I will be getting married the 18th! I am super excited. I have the ceremony venue picked out, and I’m 99% certain on the reception. I also got my dress. I have actually calmed down A LOT since Feb when my guy proposed lol. I thought I was going to lose my mind. Now I’m in research mode. I got myself a folder and a notebook, and I’m now on Pinterest on an almost daily basis for inspiration. I am going to have a small ceremony (50).

late to this post but oh well , we are a week later sept. 26th … we got a fabulous deal on a 5 room hall and are hopeing for an outdoor wedding but, will be pushed to the inside of the church if weather fails to be on my side that day…went through so many hiccups to get this far so all I have at this point is a dress a hall and a pastor ( in that order) and believe me that is an acomplisment considering the hoops ive had to jump through…
