I’m so excited and just wanted to share. After weeks of waiting for it to stop raining, our contractors were finally able to complete our patio expansion yesterday! We started with a tiny 10×12 foot patio (the lighter section closest to the door) and expanded it to a 16×28 foot monster.
Can’t wait to use this for some grilling and for part of our reception! Anybody else have exciting yard projects going on right now?

@bleusteel: Congrats on the new patio!! Perfect time to enjoy the warm weather too. We just started decorating our patio with furniture and accessories. Here’s a pic of some of the stuff we just got.

@housebee: I like your patio set! I’d love to upgrade our outdoor furniture soon, but that will probably have to wait until after we build a fence. Hope you enjoy your patio too 🙂

@bleusteel: We went a whole year with no patio furniture at all (just those canvas folding chairs with the drink holder armrests) because we had to get appliances first. Budgeting….forever my nemesis lol.

I love your patio! When we built our house, we had them put in the same size patio because we LOVE grilling and sitting outside and hanging out! Our underground sprinklers are going in right now, so we’re waiting to buy a patio set until that’s complete. There’s dust EVERYWHERE. It drives me crazy. I took it upon myself to create a cute, comfy area on the front porch while I was waiting to start on the back. I found the two stools at a local second hand store for a steal, and went crazy buying flowers. Here’s my front porch:) I love it!

Beautiful patios!! We just bought our house in March, and we have been working on patching the grass and planting flowers. The prior owners didn’t do anything. They had a black lab that pooped all over the yard, and they never picked it up. We picked up a full garbage bag full of poop. The neighbors even said that the guys dad mowed the lawn for them, so they were lazy when it came to making their house look nice.
We did talk about our patio. It needs a lot of work. One day hubby wants to build a small brick wall with a grill. In the meantime
