After a rough week of visiting and debating and negotiating (and starting our final semester of classes…) WE HAVE A VENUE! And, despite walking in and being blown away by the gourgeous inn we’re renting… and subsequently putting it in the ‘too expensive’ category… we’ve got it without compromizing our budget! And, with the exclusive caterer even the catering comes in under budget! The Fiance and I have been fretting over this for weeks, so it feels so great to just have it all set aside! I just had to share.
There is so much left to do… but getting those two things done with it feels like a good portion is done. At the very least, we’ll be able to have the ceremony and reception and all of the extras are icicng on the cake 🙂
And I *love* that I don’t even have to do everything thats left. Fiance and I made a list of everything we have to do, then split it in half. He is effectively doing half of the planning! I was really nervous about having to do everything in 5 months, but between having the location & caterer out of the way and splitting the work load, so much of the stress of it is melting away.
I just had to share! I’m sure my friends are all sick of hearing about it but I can’t keep the happy in 🙂
