I didn’t use Blue Nile but know several people who have and have never heard a single negative thing. When I was awaiting getting engaged I spent a ton of time on there looking at beautiful rings. I know they’re reputable and I’m sure if that’s where he purchases your ring it’ll be beautiful and you’ll be pleased.

My SO bought mine from blue nile!!! I havent seen it yet (driving me insane) but he says its gorgeous! I was doubtful because I read some mixed reviews but most were really good! It also made me uncomfortable to buy online without ever seeing the diamond, so I learned a lot about diamonds first, I knew what shape I wanted too, a marquise cut. In certain cuts depth and table and length to width ratio is really important so look into that as well if you want a fancy cut not just color and clarity. What finally sold me on blue nile is their recently purchased engagement rings page, because the computer generated images give too much room for change you know? So having actual images of the settings with different center stones sold me!

Which setting are you looking at???

Mine is from blue Nile! She is a beaut! I get compliment. Regularly. Like, “That thing sparkles so much it’s blinding me from over here!” And ” that is seriously perfect. PERFECT!” Service Was interesting. I had ordered a detailed band, with smaller pave and milgrain, but my skin was too sensitive and it was rubbed raw. I returned it, and had some complications ordering a new one. Turns out , a majority of it was people who didn’t really know their job, and I personally emailed by a high up, who told me her hours to call her to order, and to feel free to contact her at ANY time, with any questions ever, and upgraded mship ongoing to Saturday delivery for free as compensation for my trouble. The post is on my profile. but, I LOVE my new ring! I would recommend.

Mine is Blue Nile and fabulous, and about 50% of what it would have cost at a regular jeweler. I have a lot of jewelry from them, and their customer service is great.

My ring is from blue nile…..and their customer service with working with SO and I was a DREAM! they were very helpful with picking stones, giving advice, and dealing with my probably 15 emails about my week while we were purchasing, and made sure for me that my ring could be done in my size (size 8)…..they were awesome, and when i got the second appraisal done, it was appraised for wwwwwaaaaayyyyy over what we paid for it….i adore my little sparkly! i doubt youll be dissapointed!

I didn’t get mine from Blue Nile, because my fiance knows people in the Diamond District, but I sure did love browsing on there:) I know several people who got their rings from Blue Nile, and they’re very happy with the service!

I’ve had a good look on Blue Nile, but SO will not make this purchase online. There are some stunning rings on there and lots of positive reviews 🙂

I think Blue Nile is a great choice. When I sent SO a picture of the kind of e-ring I wanted, I designed it on Blue Nile, copied the pic and emailed it to him! If he ends up ordering it from Blue Nile I would be happy.

I’ve heard great things about blue nile from everyone I know who has used them.  I know several people who have used blue nile and they were all very happy.  Personally I thought one friend’s ring from there did look a bit chintzy (the setting, not the stone), but it may just have been the setting she selected because other ones i have seen from there are gorgeous!

We had a wonderful experience with blue nile for my engagement and wedding rings as well as gifts for our moms.  I highly recommend.
