- Wedding: April 2014
Yay! I feel like things are finally starting to come together. We had a list of venues that we liked, I had my favorite, but he just kept looking and looking. The places he was looking at were getting further and further away, so I finally made him sit down and we discussed the pros and cons about the list of places we had. We narrowed it down between two places, and my favorite won out. 😀
We chose this bed and breakfast, The Southern Grace. We’ll be having a small wedding (no more than 40 people) and I like that its so cute and casual. I’m a country girl that grew up surrounded by cows, so I love that I can get some pictures with cows. 😀
They dont have a whole lot of pictures of weddings available, but the owner said she would email me some of where people usually have their ceremonies and receptions.
I love that most of everything is included with the packages. Now I dont have to worry about booking a caterer, a cake maker, a DJ, ect. XD
Also, I havent picked a photographer yet, but I’ve found some I like. Actually one of my friends boyfriends is a photographer. He’s never done weddings before, but he’s trying to expand his business. He would give me a great deal, so I might go that route. I’ve seen his other photography and he’s great, I just hope it translates to weddings just as well.
We still have not set the date yet though. We were thinking Dec. 9th, but since we’ll be outside, we figured that would be too cold. So now we’re thinking early November, but we cant figure out the day because his work vacations start on Sunday, and we were planning on getting married on Saturday. Idk though, he’s gonna talk to his boss, so hopefully it works out.
