We went to Mens Warehouse this weekend, and both my Fiance and I LOVED the chocolate brown tuxes. My dress is Ivory, and we were going with a more casual feel, and the chocolate brown tuxes really worked with the vison we were going for.
But now I’m second guessing our decision! Our colors were originally eggplant, lilac, and wasabi with hints of ivory (like in the flowers and the base tablecloths). When I just looked at chocolate brown and purple together, I didn’t love it, and now I’m worried my photos are going to look rediculous! My sister told me I was incorporating too many colors.
This is my color palette with the brown added:
So ladies, what do you think? Have we made a HUGE mistake by choosing chocolate tuxes?

Honestly, I think those colours look great together. If you and Fiance fell in love with the chocolate brown, there must be a good reason for it. I’m sure it will look great.
And we are date twins 🙂 I really need to start checking out tuxes with FI!

Heck no. They look great together. I really like the green and lilac. I did the same thing with my dress the day after my mom ordered it. I was driving home and I was alone and thinking that everything that I bought was white and my dress was ivory and nothing would match. But when I bought my dress the consultant had to go look up the color cause she couldn’t even tell the differance. (And that’s her job!!!) So don’t psych yourself out. You and your tuxes will look great.

Your colors go well together! We just ordered our tuxes too and mens wherehouse said we could change it at any time. I kinda hated EVERYTHING my Fiance choose but i kept my mouth shut. I didn’t wanna ruin his moment. I didnt see the chocolate tux’s so i cant imagine them being a horrible mistake. maybe tell them you really need to see the tuxes on a manequin or person and find a mens wherehouse that will do tht for you if you are really fretting about it.

Thanks ladies. I think I’m just doing the whole “freak out because we made a big decision” thing. We chose mismatched vests in green and ivory/khaki tones, and my bridesmaids are wearing mismatched purple dresses. I guess I just don’t want it to look like nothing was planned and they all just showed up wearing whatever they had lying around.

I think that is a beautiful color palette! I would say go with the chocolate tuxes!

The brown will look great. If you didn’t add another color, I doubt that you were going to have eggplant, lilac, wasabi or ivory tuxes.
Basically you would have been forced into adding another color, and the brown will be perfect.
