Do you have a wedding website as well? We included all of our details on the website and just put the web address on the invites, so we would be sending out less paper. You could just email your guestlist your webite and tell them they’ll find all the necessary info there.

If you’re not doing a website, I would just email the out of town guests with hotel info. I don’t think there’s any point with mailing out more letters, you’ve done the traditional paper invites already and I don’t think anyone would negatively judge an electronic follow up.

No wedding website?  You can still set one up and include hotel info…  So even if you didn’t include a web address in your invites, internet savvy people will probably still run a search for it if they don’t want to ask you for the missing info.  Or if people do ask you (or your mom or FMIL), there will be an easy answer- direct them to the website.  Save on postage.  🙂
