my Maid/Matron of Honor just got it today (sent it Monday). There was a note saying .20 cents due. We took it to the post office and had them weigh it and it weighed exactly .9 ounces right under the cutoff!!! So now I don’t know what to do, I don’t want them to come back to us or our guests to have that lovely note on their pretty invitations.
I think maybe they sat at the post office and then got moisture in the envelope or something to make them go over an ounce weight! My question is what should I do bee’s? Do I just put a .64 cent stamp on them all, or just hope they get to their destinations?

Have you already opened it? If not, I would take it back to the post office and have them re-weigh it and ask them what happened.

@milesbella:That’s a good idea, I’ll have to call her and see if she can take it there and ask! 🙂

Good thing you sent a test! I would probably spring for the .64 cents stamp just so you don’t need to worry about your invitations getting to your guests.

If you’re that cloes to the cutoff, I wouldn’t risk it. I’d just use 64 cent stamps so I know they would all make it without troubles.
