- Wedding: June 2012 - Hollins House at Pasatiempo, Santa Cruz CA
hey ya’ll 🙂
SOoo, my bf and i started chatting about football season randomly and he commented that he needs to make sure none of our future anniversaries fall during the football season lol! SO I asked him when the football season was again, and he was like September to Feb. I asked again, so what does that mean? we can’t get married in the Winter or something? And he said that it means that we will get ENGAGED before September!! And Married sometime next Summer. Weeeee~~
Ok, that means I only have 5 months max more to wait! yay!
Also, we’ve decided to get a puppy recently and will plan to move somewhere with a nice yard. We live with two roomies now and the plan is to move out by ourselves sometime end of this year to early next year.
I have this weird thing where I don’t want to “create a home” with him unless we are engaged…cuz i don’t want to go through the wonderful process of picking a place to live, buying furniture and making a home with someone I’m not definitely committed to! He agrees.
In the meantime…I’ve gotten started wedding planning. Please see my Poll! Which wedding theme would you prefer? Here are the links:

Speaking as someone who’s dating anniversary is during football season and typically falls on a big playoff game day, thank GOODNESS your SO is thinking things through like that! Though it is nice to be reminded that us and our anniversary is more important than football when he insists on not watching the game because it’s our anniversary. 🙂
Looks like you’re timeline matches up with ours! Here’s to our waiting being almost finito!

I love the garden theme…I’m doing something very similar myself, at a historic Southern mansion that has orchards and gardens…*swoon*
This is an exciting time in your life! <3

How exciting for you, yay!!!! I remember those talks 🙂 I myself wanted to stay away from “football season” because it is pretty big in my state and I didn’t want to compete with a Football Saturday Gameday on my wedding. So next summer it is for me too! Good luck waiting…it’ll be here soon enough and then you won’t even remember a time when the bling wasn’t on your finger!

We’re on the same timeline too! We’re thinking engagement this summer and wedding next June, 6-9-2010! My SO is a football coach, so we have to plan everything around football season lol but luckily I love football, so I’d plan everything around it anyway 🙂 Both are so beautiful but that gazebo at the golf club is GORGEOUS! That’s exactly what I want, big trees everywhere! ha
