- Wedding: January 2016 - The Great Southern Club
i probably went through about 10-15 venues and none of them worked. too expensive, too small, too many rules…weddings can come with a lot of disappointments!! i was able to plan my wedding in four months though and everything worked out. jsut be sure to keep an open mind and remember anything can happen!!
good luck with the next vendor!

Nona99: Their main ceremony site was on the lawn directly behind the main building (which all of this used to be somones home). There were power lines directly above the seating area and this huge ugly metal vent on the roof where I assume the kitchen was. It was such an eyesore. The second ceremony site they had was literally a dirt lot in front of a fountain with fake flowers in their “garden”. The pictures made it look so nice but in person it looked extremely cheap and run down!

sassybeee: We live in a city with a little over 200,000 people. It’s not huge but it isn’t small either. From my understanding, we are the second biggest city in Washington next to Seattle.

I know it’s hard not to get frustrated because so much effort goes into these appointments. But, I understand what you’re going through. The first venue we looked at I thought I was going to love. Once I got there I realized it wasn’t what I wanted and was going to cost way more than I anticipated. The whole hour car ride to the next venue I was so upset and cried thinking I would never find a venue. As soon as we got to the next venue we both knew it was the one. Just relax and enjoy the time with your fiancé!
