I never thought we would go into a jewlery store and look at stuff together. I told him the kind of rings I liked (i’m not extremely picky so i didnt see the need to show him) and he made it clear he wanted it to be 100% a surprise, so i didnt see a jewelry store trip in our future any time soon.
wellll last night we went to the mall to pick up D’s computer (its been on the fritz, so he brought it to the apple store) and we had some time to kill before it was ready, we were strolling and we walked past a jewelry store and impulsively i was like ooh lets look at jewelry! (i didnt say rings) and he responded, yeah lets do that I need some help with rings!
Trying on rings was, um, AMAZEBALLS. there were SO many options that I loved! D was really into it, I could see the wheels in his head turning and taking mental notes. In the car on the ride home he did a “recap” of the things i liked and didnt like 🙂 YAY! Even if it doesnt come for a little while that was almost enough to keep me going! I had dreams of diamonds and engagements all night long haha!
Suprisingly I’ve ALWAYS been a solitaire kind of girl but when we were shopping I sorttvee fell in love with channel set bands. They were just so elegant, clean cut, and BLING! D saw it in my eyes, and he pushed me on it a little (i think he was budgeting for the solitaire haha) i made it clear that I loved them both, but man, that channel set was gorg-eous. Here’s a picture of what it kind of looked like (with channel set wedding band too):
I don’t know what D will pick, i left him witha lot of options of things I like, but it was just surprising how much I liked this after being a solitaire girl for SOO long!
