We went ring shopping all day yesterday but I found NOTHING i liked until we went to an Italian jeweler. She wrote down the setting, it had a head for a round cut diamond and the setting was cathedral with pave diamonds all over, it was absolutely beautiful but alone 6K! EEEK!
I am disheartened about not finding “THE ONE” but we have plenty of time!! The weekend after next we are going to the diamond district and to Tiffany!!

Congrats!!! That’s SUCH exciting news! 😀 Even if you didn’t find the “perfect” ring I’m positive you will! Plus, how much fun is ring shopping? Let it last 😉

OMG. Ring shopping was better than Christmas hahaha!!! So much fun..the hardest part is waiting after the ring shopping..lol. I tried to drag Boyfriend or Best Friend into another jewelry store last night just so I could try more on because I was having a bad day lol. My Boyfriend or Best Friend already has about $300 put towards my ring (well at least thats what he told me) and is working a TON in the next 2 weeks so hopefully that number doubles or more :)) Its a slow and steady savings program 😉

That’s awesome! I must agree it is better than X-mas and that you will not find the ring of your dreams right away. For months I loved a ring and when I finally went to try on to different stores I went from a three stone to a solitaire… and I love it!
Keep hope alive!!!! it will be amazing!

I am so thrilled!! Plus he seems really into it!! I was expecting him to be moody and grumpy. 🙂 I actually thought I had wanted a specific setting (halo setting) but I am in love with the pave one I found!! I actually had a DREAM about it last night! LOL!

How exciting!!! Look on the bright side- not finding “the one” means you get to go try on more beautiful jewelry. You might find a more affordable ring that’s similar… or something you love more. Good luck!

on the bright side – you may not have the the right ones, but you now know which ones are the wrong ones, right?
eventually there can only be so many wrong ones… good luck!

It sounds like fun! I’m sure you can look for things that you like for less money. Now that you have an idea of what looks good, it’s easier to look online for things.

Did you take a picure of the ring??? You could have a jeweler custom make a similar one for you.
