@MissFireFlower we hold back blog posts for lots of reasons. The first is if I plan on submitting to blogs or magazines. Most want exclusive rights and it takes weeks sometimes months for them to get back to say they want to publish it or not. I will usually blog it closer to when it’s planned to published so viewers can see more images than what was posted.

Other reasons, needing stuff to blog during off shooting/booking season. Just blogged a recent wedding that was similar. Tied in with something that has to do with one of your other vendors.

I highly doubt it’s because they ‘don’t like you’ or didn’t see your wedding as blog worthy. It’s usually about business strategy.

@MissFireFlower:  I agree with what the other bees have said. You haven’t see the photos yet so try not to stress!

In other news

HOLY CRAP YOU GOT MARRIED AND I’M SO EXCITED TO SEE YOUR PHOTOS

You’re one of the bee’s I’ve been stalking waiting to see their wedding pictures.

@MissFireFlower:  My engagement photos were posted on the Floridian Weddings blog, and one of the questions they asked our photographer on the application when she submitted our photos for publication was if the images had been blogged elsewhere yet.  Floridian Weddings  preferred to be the first blog to feature the photos.  After they ran the photos, she could blog them elsewhere.  She did have the images up on her FB and website all along though.  Anyway, the point is that there can be other reasons you were not featured,  so try not to assume the worst.

@MissFireFlower:  Ha! I think that’s one reason why I remembered you so well.

Bummer!!  Could you email the photographer and ask?  I’d be wondering about why too!

@fsowife:  Don’t ask.  It’s just going to put the photographer in an uncomfortable position.  Blogging isn’t personal – it’s about future clients not current ones, and it can be a strategic thing based on time of year, or even the frequency someone has shot at the same venue.

@mockblock:  not that there’s anything wrong with that 😉

OP, maybe you can submit pics to some websites?

You most likely will have to get your photographers permission to submit to blogs.

Dont ask, please. Its not Anyone’s business what we blog and what we dont. You paid for a service and got it. Blogging is not what you pay for its what we use for business. Plain and simple. As I said before please dont take it personal. 😀 We have to do whats best for Our business its not about your feelings. I love my couples but my blog is for me and my business not them.

Im sorry I sound a bit harsh but you need to get over the blogging thing… this is not the first thread about this. (not you OP just in general)
