So yesterday we decided to go and get an idea of styles etc… Very excited it was our first time properly looking! The second shop we went in to had a gorgeous display, I was convinced I was a simple solitaire girl and then the shop assistant asked me to try on a cushion cut halo with a plain band…
As soon as I put it on SO, myself and the two shop assistants all said wow, it was my size (4.25 which isnt the standard size they make them in Australia) and it looked absolutely perfect!!!
Fast forward and they offered us an excellent price and SO said he was more that happy to pick this one so has put it on laybuy for the next 3-4 months!!!
I am really excited!! I am #30 and he always teased me that I might make it to the single figures :p here is to ‘patiently’ waiting!!!

Congratulations! I’m so glad you had a great ring shopping experience. Selecting our wedding rings was absolutely one of the highlights of our relationship and you still have that to look forward to too. Best of luck with the rest of your planning.

Thank you ladies!!! A small part of me is a little sad the surprise factor of the ring is not going to be there, but I’m sure the proposal will be lovely and memorable 🙂
Mrs.Daly: Hehe I jumped onto pinterest with a little more purpose this morning!!

Exciting! My story was kind of like that too, as we went and “looked” at rings 2 weeks before he proposed. Although I didn’t know when he was actually going to propose (I was thinking 6 momths later!), it’s nice knowing that it will happen soon for you!! 🙂
