@ambartsch: Flying is actually really safe. My fiance is an airline pilot and the way he puts it is
“In the sky, there is limited traffic, you have to be skilled to actually fly, the aircraft is checked thoroughly by an engineer before leaving any destination and once it lands. In a car, you have a bunch of idiots on the road and your car is checked once every 6 months”
True i guess. If he has any questions i would be happy to give them to my fiance, maybe it would help him?

Send his behind to therapy ASAP! Some talking it out + meds = Happy Honeymoon!

If he’s that terrified, it just wouldn’t be right to force him to go. How does he feel about trying medication like lots of bees have suggested?

Xanax his ass and enjoy your honeymoon!!!!

Offer this as a great motivator for him to get some therapy to address the thoughts/feelings associated with his phobia. Xanax might be a useful bandaid for that one flight, but if y’all plan to travel at all during your marriage, it sounds like it would be helpful to face this issue and treat it with a long-term solution.

Xanax and some drammamine. He’ll sleep the whole way there.
