@Lexii:  Does your wedding band not work together with your e-ring?

I know people who have done that. One of my friends has a very thick wedding band (multiple rows of pave diamonds) so she wears her e-ring on the right hand and the wedding band on the left.

@Lexii:

I’m curious why you want to do this too. I’m considering it because I have a thick e-ring, but I don’t have a wedding band yet.

I do! I have a thick, intricate wedding band and very small/skinny fingers, so I didn’t want too much jewelry on one hand. I wanted to “spread out the bling”. I love it!

I would totally do that if my rings didn’t go together. And even though my band matches I crave to do that one day, to showcase each one. Problem is size. One hand is a half size larger and so I couldn’t change my mind or switch hands.

Well culturally…we wear our engagement ring on the right and when we get married we move it to the left. I dont have a wedding band so I can at least feel a lil diff when I get married 🙂

@Lexii:  My mom does this. Both her wedding band and her engagement ring are quite blingy and also quite thick so she sometimes seperates them (they can be worn together), wedding band on the left, ering on the right. I think it’s fine 🙂

I’m going to do something similar. Right now I have my e-ring on the left and I don’t plan on getting a matching band. I wanted something unique (like you said, a statement) for my wedding band and I also don’t want to worry about them fitting together, matching and especially not rubbing. I know you can wear spacers or have them soldered but I still want them separate. I don’t think it’s weird at all. The idea kinda got stuck in my head after I realized I didn’t want a matching band and became a firm decision after reading the Leon Mege site and seeing how they recommended wearing rings on separate hands to help prevent additional wear and tear.

that’s exactly how i wear my rings.  i have a split shank engagement ring, and think it looks better on it’s own.  so i moved it to my right hand and wear my wedding band on my left, which is a shared u-prong eternity.
