I am going to wear mine solo, since we are going to get me solitaires for both engagement- and wedding rings. So, they probably wont go well together. lol. So, I will just alternate. ๐Ÿ™‚

I came SO close to doing this! I’m just not a jewelry person and liked the look of the engagement ring alone. But a couple months before our wedding I changed my mind/DH persuaded me. We went with two- but mainly because 1. I look really young and it just made me “feel” like I looked older haha and 2. I wanted to distinguish between engaged and married. Neither are super important reasons though and you’d be totally fine if that’s what you want to do! Do what makes you happy ๐Ÿ™‚

I might do this because I don’t really like the look of anything with my e-ring. I might still get a wedding band, but only wear it when I’m not wearing my e-ring for whatever reason.

I could care less if people think I’m engaged vs. married. Doesn’t matter to me.

I’ve never been a fan of two rings on one finger for myself, so I always wear just an engagement type ring. ๐Ÿ™‚

It isn’t like it just says “taken”. Yes, sometimes people ask me when the wedding is, but who cares? I tell them “x” years ago, and that’s that.

I wear mine by itself. Having more than one ring would probably annoy me.

mshelena:  I usually wear my full set, but occasionally, I still do wear the engagement ring on it’s own (I have a sapphire halo). I love how it looks and it brings back that excitement of being engaged and having a new sparkly on my finger!

I know some people who wear their engagement ring on their right hand and wedding band on the left. I think I’ll probably do that sometimes, be cause I also like how my ering and wedding band look by themselves. And some days I’ll probably wear them together on the left. Do whatever you like ๐Ÿ™‚

I like the look of your ring on it’s own without a wedding ring (and love the aquamarine!)

I choose to forgo getting a separate wedding ring, and wear just my engagement ring. I love the way my engagement ring looked on it’s own, and found that the matching wedding ring actually took away from the look and detail of my ring (DH felt the same way, and was on board with me skipping the wedding ring).  I also find it more comfortable to wear a single ring.  Plus we saved a few thousand dollars by skipping the matching wedding ring ๐Ÿ™‚

I am not married yet but I will probably be wearing my by itself. Only on special occasions I will be wearing my band.

My band is bulky ( I love it though) and I normally only wear my ering when I am at work. First thing I do when I get home is to take off my ering. I don’t even wear earings and rarely a necklace.

I have a few marital bling pieces that I wear alone. Not my e-ring, though. That just looks weird to me by itself. I’ve got no problems wearing the first one alone, though. lol

All that to say that I vote: your finger, your choice. Bling!

It’s gorg. A colleague of mine wears her ering only and although she got married last year she keeps getting asked when her wedding is. It’s annoying her so much she’s thinking about swapping it to her right hand and wearing a plain wedding band. Just something to perhaps bear in mind.
