What colour are you wearing to your Rehearsal dinner?
I have read some opinions that wearing White the night before will subtract from the big day.
I have seen other Bees who say take the chance to wear one of your wedding colours and others that simply say disregard the wedding scheme and wear something fun!
So what are your thoughts? What are you wearing/ did you wear?
I curently am really liking the idea of wearing a blue dress- it was the traditional wedding dress colour and I thought it could be a fun notion to play with.
I’ll be interested to see!

I’m wearing this dress to my rehearsal dinner. 🙂
It happens to be in my wedding colors, but even if my theme weren’t blue and ivory, I’d wear it anyway.

I can’t find a picture of it online because I bought it in like May, but my dress was a printed one, with white, yellow, and brown in it. It was from Macy’s. I got sooooo many compliments on it. I’ll see if I can find a picture..

@Rubbs: It helps if you check the label for the designer. They don’t sell my dress anymore so that’s how I found it.

I personally think white/ivory/cream is best saved for the wedding day. I’d opt for what makes you feel pretty and special. I wore a purple dress with gold lace over it. Our colors were ivory and yellow. (I have personally never been in a wedding or to a rehearsal dinner with a bride dressed in white.)

I will probably wear white, but i am nowhere near picking it out yet! I just think it would be a fun time to wear one of the tea-length, more casual vintage type dresses that I would have loved to wear to the wedding, except that we decided to go more formal.

@mrsSonthebeach: You looked beautiful! I love coloured dresses with metallic lace overlays!

I didn’t wear white and I don’t think it is necessary. Wear whatever makes you feel fantastic. We were going to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon so my Maid/Matron of Honor gifted me a lovely pair of ears with a veil which I wore during the rehearsal portion.
Again it is all about having fun and being comfortable.

I think I’m going to wear white because it gives me an excuse to shop for another “wedding” dress, after deciding to not go for a reception dress on the day itself :p

I wore Jeggings and a pink tank top with a black tee shirt under it – ours was a very casual dinner though and we set up chappel and venue all in one day so I wanted to be comfy. I spruceed it up wtih ankle booties-
They suprised me with a suprised b-party right after as well so it worked great
here is the only picture I have- but I’m also wearing my lazer tag vest so you can’t tell so much.

my colors were turquoise/aqua and coral. my dress was white with a pink floral print and pink trim. i didn’t buy it specifically for my rehearsal (i wasn’t even with my husband when i bought it). i found it at a thrift store a few years ago and hadn’t had a chance to wear it, so i figure my rehearsal was as good a time as any.

I think for the rehearsal dinner anything goes. It can be as fancy and formal or fun and casual as you want it to be. I found a really cute white, mid thigh length lace dress that I thought of getting. But I want to tone up more in my legs before I dare wear a short skirt.I’m really self conscious of my legs and my goal is to feel confident by my wedding.
