Its definetly normal to have 2 seperate dresses, especially when the ceremony dress is a big ballgown. Waiting patiently for pictures though!

Now the bridesmaid situation is entirely up to you. I’d look at if there’d be enough groomsmen to equal it out, if it will upset your other bridesmaids too much(but this shouldnt be relevant anyway!)
Apparently having ‘honorary bridesmaids’ are becoming more common, so maybe you could squeeze them in that way.

I am having two as I returned my original dress and had enough credit for both the dresses I fell for and I also did not want a bustle. I am worried how the changing will work. I have my final details meeting next weekend so that’s definitely one of my questions of where I will store it.

I’m changing in between the ceremony and reception. It’s totally normal in my culture, though, and we purposely built in a (hosted) 1.5-hour gap between the end of the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour because most of the guests are actually planning to change clothes as well. My only regret is that I can’t wear 3 outfits…or 4, or 5…

I wouldn’t add more BMs if I were you. It might make the new BMs feel “second best” or cause resentments amongst your original BMs. You can invite your two non-BM friends to all of your events and/or honor them at the ceremony in a different way, like asking them to do a reading or play an instrument.

You look stunning in both those beautiful dresses. I prefer the top one. It’s classically stunning but the bottom one looks great too. I think it all comes down to a personal preference for silouette. I just know that if I wore the second one I’d be sucking in my tummy all day but you look as though you wouldn’t have that worry.

Oh my! You look beautiful in both dresses, I can see why you want two! I say you’ll rock them both!

As far as adding in a bridesmaid or two, I think if you’ve become really close with them then of course you should. If they’re important to you and you want them with you on ur day there no reason you can’t add them.

I love the Blush (HP) dress. I may try to duplicate that for a reception outfit. Very fun!

megamin06:  yes! I love them. They were so helpful. Sarah at BHB was my consultant. I am having my dresses altered at MLD Limited. They are also amazing. I love your dresses… I think you should wear both! You look gorgeous… I must say I love the HP Sunny dress.
