So, my boyfriend proposed yesterday, and he got on one knee and gave me the ring that I had picked out. Then after I said yes, he got down on one knee again and gave me the ring he originally bought me over five years ago when we had only been dating a few months. He told me that he was planning on giving me the original ring, but realized later that I would need a different one because we had decided by then to go with a black theme for our rings. He still wanted me to have the original ring because he knew it would be special to me simply because he picked it out. He is exactly right, I can’t decide which one I like more…but the one with the white diamonds is SO precious because HE picked it. Anyway I won’t rant…but I feel super spoiled and loved. 🙂
Anyhoo… since before he even proposed we had picked out our bands (I have two small ones for either side) I plan on making the first ring (with white diamonds) my right hand ring, but in the meantime is it tacky to wear them both on the same finger? I know they don’t match, BUT I do like the ecletic, mismatched look and they are both so precious. I know they might rub on each other but that shouldn’t be a problem because our engagment is going to be a secret for quite some time, I will only really get to wear them when we go out of town somewhere. So what do you think? Do you dig the look too? Does it make me look like a gold digger or something? Does anyone else have more than one E-ring? How did that come about? Do you wear them both? Can I see? Let me know, ladies! You all are the only ones I can tell about this exciting news! 😀

I think you should wear one on the other hand. I like mismatched but that doesn’t work, imo.

They don’t work together. Wear one as a RHR.
Why is your engagement a secret from everyone?

I would wear on different hands. Imho the two together look super weird. Congrats on your engagement!!

You shouldn’t wear them together as them rubbing against each other could damage the stones’ settings.

I would definitely wear them on different hands, I’m sorry, but I don’t think it works

The look is not cohesive. Both rings are lovely but I agree with the other comments, wear one on each hand.

I think they look fine together. I wear my promise ring and e-ring together. Do whatever you want! 🙂

Honestly, I think they look silly together. They’re both nice rings, but I think it’d be best to wear one on each hand.
Congrats on your engagement!

I wear an engagement set with two rings. I like the way your rings look but I would worry about the prongs being damaged from rubbing. Here’s my set:

I like the idea of making one into a right hand ring, as they’re both so special. Maybe wear his OG ring on a necklace for now?

Personally not a fan of the look, but if you like it that’s all that matters!

Not a fan, especially of those two particular rings together. They just look cluttered and they really work against each other. Wear one on the left, one on the right.

Another vote for one as a RHR. They are both really lovely they just don’t really go together.

I think by wearing them together you are taking away from the true beauty of each. mismatched only works when they kind of match 😉 rhr for one
