Incontinence products have improved a lot in recent years, so even though having to deal with this is awful, you at least have a lot of options available to you.

Poise makes products that are similar to pads for your period, which work great. They unfortunately wont help if you lose control of your bowels, but they will offer some protection if you decide not to go for a full diaper. Also, Depends has a new line called Silhouette which are very thin and look more like underwear than diapers.

Theres definitely options for you OP, I would suggest buying small packs of different things to try out before the day if you can

So sorry that you are going through this, OP. Please don’t feel embarassed about this – it’s something you have no control over. We can only be who we are, being embarassed over what our bodies do is just a waste of time.

I don’t have any advice, as I’ve never had this type of problem, but it seems that you’ve gotten plenty of advice from other bees. It looks like some of the options you have wouldn’t be super noticeable under your dress.

Hm. I work with a lot of patients that have seizures, but I haven’t had this come up. I’ll try to ask my neurologist friends about it. Sounds like you’ve gotten some good options about incontinence products. I just wanted to chime in and say that you’ve got some time, so I think there’s a good chance they’ll have them controlled by then, or you’ll at least start recognizing signs that one is coming.
