I know it’s traditional to wear white or silver heels with the wedding dress, but I am falling in love with some pics on here, of bees posing in their white dresses and bright blue/pink/red/etc heels! So cute and fun, and I’m thinking of stealing it!
But I was watching My Fair Wedding the other day and David looked like he was about to have a heart attack when the bride showed him her blue shoes, saying something like “Did I mention the shoes are……gasp…blue???” This made me sad because I LOVE David Tutera and I usually agree with most of his opinions!
So what say ye, bees?

I think I will be wearing purple shoes… or should I say medium lilac? Either I find the right color or I will dye the shoes or I will bling them to death!

I wore bright fuchsia shoes with mine and everyone that saw couldn’t stop raving about them – including my photographer who took a ton of photos and insisted on me pulling up my dress so he could capture them in a lot of photos. Keep in mind that fuchsia is not even remotely one of my wedding colors.
I think you should wear whatever color shoes you like as long as it complements the dress style/fabric/theme and it doesn’t totally clash with the general wedding colors/theme. For example, I probably wouldn’t wear neon yellow studded platform heels for a rustic barn wedding.

Screw him, he’s not the bride. :)- Only matters what *you* think!
I LOVED the spot of ORANGE under my dress. And so did everyone else.

I had blue shoes! I LOVE colored shoes. Ps there is an episode wear David Tutera gives his bride ruby red shoes because she wanted a wizard of oz themed wedding, so I don’t think he’s totally against that.

Can I admit that I hate white shoes except for espadrilles?
I feel like people are channeling Sophia Petrillo wth any other kind of white shoes….l

If you are mature enough to get married, you are mature enough to disregard David Tutera’s opinion and have the wedding you want.

@MrsCreeToBe: Said what? someone tell him that’s a trend and not a recent one.
I actually LOVE colored shoes, they look fun and it’s a way to show your personality, why should they be white? do you wear blue shoes with a blue dress?
PS: I have no idea who this guy is but I’m thinking wedding reality show?

I really wanted to wear white shoes, but I’ll be wearing coloured ones. They’re starting to grow on me, though.

I haven’t bought them, yet, but I am going to wear some Louboutin knock offs as I’m doing Blue with Red accents for the wedding. My stone is blue, so I really wanted to go with that. These are the ones I want to get!
