I think they are a really cool accessory! I have a pair of lace-edged wrist-length gloves that I might wear – not sure yet. They are vintage, and I have a hard time with women’s gloves in general because I have pretty large hands compared to most women. (I normally buy men’s gloves in size medium because they are cut broader than a women’s large). These are stretchy enough that they might work – we’ll see.

My Dad has told me that I must wear gloves for our father/daughter dance (I think it’s because he’s making it kind of princess-themed…when I was little, I always quoted Snow White saying “Once there was this princess…” and my Dad would say, “And was this princess YOU?! Laughing Still makes me smile to think about it!). He plans on wearing white gloves with his tuxedo for the dance, too. 🙂

I say “rock’em!” I’m sure they would look fab!

Originally, when we were considering getting married in February for our 7 year anniversary, I was planning on wearing gloves, but for our outdoor summer BBQ they just didn’t seem to fit… I’m planning on doing a second photoshoot in my dress though, and I’ll be wearing the gloves for some of those!

Mine were more like lace gauntlets than gloves, but I LOVE LOVE LOVED them!

The big problem with gloves is that it can make it difficult to put the rings on. Wedding gloves in the past had a slit on the ring finger to allow you to put the rings on and then retreat into the gloves.

I’m not a great fan of fingerless gloves, but if you like them then go for it.
