@ash83:  It’s gorgeous. I agree with removing the cape though. It’s not old-fashioned, it just doesn’t look wedding-y. But with the cape removed and a sparkly belt or pretty sash it would look just like a simple wedding dress!!

I would take it to a seamstress. They will be able to tell you what’s possible and give you some creative ideas.

Old fashioned is pretty contemporary these days! So I wouldn’t let that stop you. I kinda like the cape. But I agree that removing it and adding a belt would be pretty too and still have that vintagey-look. I think it’d look nice with a rounded neckline.
