I slept in one of my BF’s shirts while we were long distance. We were long distance for two years, so obviously it stopped smelling like him after a while, lol, but it was still comforting. Now we live together, but I recently went to visit my family for a month, and my BF slept on my pillow the whole time I was gone because he said it smelled like me… it made me melt a little to know he did the same thing 🙂

I have one of his shirts and one of his jackets (I’m ALWAYS cold in my house) that I wear, but I was really disappointed when they stopped smelling like him so soon. So for particularly lonely nights, he gave me an almost empty bottle of his cologne to spray on my pillow. I swear I sleep better when I can smell it.

I’m going to sound really lame, but before my partner & I moved in together (we both wanted to but had to get the money together) I had a rotation of 2 of his shirts that lived on my pillow so I could cuddle up to his smell every night. Loved it. Even now when we live together, I love snuggling into his shirts or pillows etc… I’m such a sook!!

EDIT: we were NOT LDR. We were only 20mins drive away from each other LOL

i wear one of my FI’s shirts to bed sometimes, and we aren’t long distance at all, we live about 15 mins walk away from each other, i also have a bottle of his deodorant i spray sometimes to smell him, especially if i won’t be seeing him for several days 🙂

Yep! We live together but whenever he has to travel for work I sleep in one of his undershirts. He knows this, so now when he has to leave, he’ll put a shirt of his out on the bed just for me 🙂

Before we lived together (never long distance) I would do that all the time. I’d give it back once the smell was gone & he’d give me a new one! My brother & his gf did the same.

The last time my FI went out of town for a few days I slept in one of his t-shirts the whole time.  He thought it was sweet!

Edit:  We live together.

Yep I do it all the time. We are not in a LDR we live together. But he works from 6 am- 3 pm..comes home and naps ( while I’m still at work) then goes back from 5 pm- 3 am( sometimes till 4) so I barely see him. But I wear his shirt because it’s comforting.

not weird at all! Alot of my friends do this!

I’m wearing his now. And he’s only “away” at work. Lol. I’m weird.

It’s not weird at ALL!  My FI and I currently live 2 hours away from each other (but see each other every weekend) and I wear one of his shirts to bed every night, even when we are together.  He loves it and he told me that when I’m not there he sleeps on my side of the bed 🙂

I do this as well.  When he comes to visit I make him leave at least 3 tshirts that are covered with his cologne.  Laughing

we’re not long distance but sleep over each other’s places over the weekend.  one night, my BF randomly mentioned how he liked that my pillow smelled like me, especially the morning after i sleep over.

totally unexpected and so cute!!
