OK so ive always been a ring person, Im wearing 5 as we speak.
my E ring is the 4th ring if your looking from left to right.. anyways i just wanted to ask if its unusual to do this? when women get engaged all i see is their E ring, but my problem is i feel naked with out them. the heart one was from my 16th bday the butterfly one is my love for butterflies and the cattla ring( cant spell, sorry) was an engagment present from FI’s best man and the pinkie ring is my grandmothers when she was my age.
My E ring is the most special ring of all of them, but i feel so weird without them all…
My question is, is this abnormal?

I wear 4 rings including my e-ring, but Ive now switched them all to the other hand so my e-ring is the only one on my left… It took awhile to get used to- but now it is much more noticable theat I’m engaged or married. Plus doing that will let that ring shine even if the others are larger or more shiny.

I don’t wear as many rings as you…. But I would wear like a cocktail ring on my right hand that matched my outfit.
Befoe I was engaged, I wore a purity ring on my left hand (originally on my ring finger, but I lost weightodo it went murther middle finger)… I moved it to my right hand middle finger when we got engaged so that it didn’t take away from my Engagement Ring… Then on my wedding morning I took it off 🙂
Anyways…. Not unusual, maybe that amount of rings is more unusual, but wearing a ring while you wear your Engagement Ring is totally normal! Otherwise, you’d never wear any other rings for the rest of your life? I couldn’t handle that haha

I always wear a ring on my right middle finger (because thats where they fit). I sometimes wear one on my left middle finger too. If I had more rings, I would wear more of them at a time, but on most days I like having only my ering on my left hand. Future Mother-In-Law wears like 6 at a time, and most of them are heirloom rings.

i used to wear a lot of rings too, but after i got engaged i stopped wearing my others 🙁 i don’t even really know why, because i love all the rings i wore before. i guess maybe i feel like next to my engagement ring, the others look weird. i need to get over that and start wearing them again.

I used to wear alot of rings but when I got my Engagement Ring I stopped wearing all others because I wanted it to be the only one I saw. It is your personal preference.

I’ve never been a fan of having a lot of rings on both hands. That’s just a personal preference. I prefer the engagement ring alone and/or a wedding band on the left hand, then maybe one ring on the right hand.

Before I was engaged, I had two rings that I wore all the time. I wore one on the index finger of my left hand and the other on the middle finger of my right hand. When I got engaged, I moved the ring from my left hand to my right hand and stopped wearing the ring I originally wore on my right hand… I felt that wearing another ring on my left hand took away from my e-ring…

Not my cup of tea, but that doesn’t make it weird! I only wear ‘other’ rings on my right hand, usually my middle or ring finger.

I love wearing multiple rings too but I stopped wearing rings on say, my left pointer finger or thumb because I didn’t want to detract from my e-ring. Now I wear multiples on my right hand only. But do whatever you’re comfortable with!

Ooooo, like this post. Ironically before we were engaged my Fiance mentioned that once I get “the ring” I shouldn’t wear any addl rings. Prior to my ering I wore a pinky ring, ring finger ring and a thumb ring. None had any special meaning other than that I liked them. I thought he was crazy BUT as soon as I got that diamond ring… I never wore the others again… and still haven’t. All that being said, I don’t think its weird or wrong to wear other rings along with your ering. It’s whatever you prefer and what YOU like.

@asscherlover: You saying that about your Future Mother-In-Law reminded me… My Nana wears a ton of rings! Lots of various gemstone rings – expensive! And she wears several on both hands! 🙂
