- Wedding: April 2017
I once wore white to a wedding. I was about thirteen, we were visiting family overseas, and the white dress (long sleeves, knee length) was the only thing I had packed that was even remotely formal enough. We didn’t have enough prior notice to purchase something else for me to wear.
It was a gigantic “Western” wedding in Singapore. It may be etiquette but people are generally pretty clear on who the bride is.
No one cared.
Generally speaking, I wouldn’t do it though.
