I am (have been) panicking over the weather for my wedding day. It’s outdoors on June 29 in Ohio. All I can think of is last year. Horrible thunderstorms and winds. I decided to look athat he Farmers Almanac for June 29 for the past several years and this is what I saw. I recorded the year, average temp., and amount of precipitation. This is for the city my wedding is in.
Is .06 and such a lot of rain?

@Amsy28: .06 inches? What measurement are we working with?
I’m gonna go with no and say rain on your wedding day is good luck!

It has a chance to rain on everyones wedding! I think it’s good to have a backup plan.
It’s VERY rainy here in october, so we’re going to set up tents for our ceremony anyway, and if it doesn’t rain, well, that’s okay too, at least our guests won’t be blinded!
It would seriously bother me if I had no backup plan at all.. even if it has never rained on your day, I would STILL have a plan!
Our reception is indoors so I don’t have to worry about that!

If you have a back-up plan, don’t worry about it! It rained POURED on our wedding day but lukcily the venue we selected had an indoor space we could use in just such an event.
Otherwise I’d rent a tent or something just to make sure you have coverage in case it rains, even a little bit.

I’m in Ohio too.. dealing with April wedding weather — you have a much better chance of nice weather in June! We live up by the lake.. and typically we don’t get a ton of rain during the summer.. a lot of the time it’s like a quick shower, then it’s fine, like Florida. I’m sure you’ll be fine — look at those temperatures, they’re perfect!
