I am starting to freak out about the weather for my outdoor ceremony and reception in 3 weeks. I do not know what’s up with the freaking weather here in the Pacific NW this year. It should be nice by now, it isn’t.10 day forecast shows highs in the 60’s maybe low 70’s. Cloudy and overcast, rain on and off. I wouldn’t mind the lower temps if it was sunny all day, it never is lately. The weather doesn’t seem to be changing as we get closer. I do have an indoor backup plan but it’ll break my heart to use it. I am a sunshine girl, a summer outdoor wedding was the only option for me. Anyone else having weather issues? I’ve noticed summer has arrived in the rest of the country, am I alone with my weather concerns?

My weather forecast based on my own estimates from this week:
63 degress in the day, 55 at night (wedding is indoors, 4pm)
Weather records for that day in history:
high 88 degrees and
low 44 degrees
I really hope we get some sunlight for our photos!
Actually– we worried about the weather 7 months ago when Fiance said “last 4th of July you sent me pics (he was in Afghanistan) of you and your friend wearing hoodies–so we are NOT getting married outside if it will get cold like that in San Francisco.”
I was actually thinking of an outdoor ceremony, but he was right!

I’m also hoping for a nice sunny day so we can get nice pictures. My wedding is next sunday but I have not been checking the forecast, because usually when I check it more than 5 days out they arent very accurate. But I’m praying that it will be nice

u are not alone…..right now, i only have a tent back up plan in case it slightly rains…..if we have thunderstorms….i have no idea what to do…..the reception might have to get canceled i guess….we have no indoor back up plan because everything is taking place on the property of my friend’s house and her house cannot accommodate a wedding of 110 guests…..so i am definitely freaking out about weather right along with you!!!

I’m not even going to bother. One can only stay positive and see what’s out the window that morning!!

Yes I’ve heard that too. The weather has just been so weird this year it makes me paranoid. I thought we were safe picking a July date, I knew better than to pick June. I’m hoping for the best.
