Webmaster: Your unsubscribe function doesn’t work

The same thing happened to me – very annoying! I’ve already gotten married – I don’t want to be advertised to anymore! And most of all, i’d like to be able to easily opt out.

Please post this in the support forum!  I’d like our tech team to be able to see this and figure out how many people this is happening to!

Yeah, I was a little disappointed when I got the email today too. I hate the thought that Weddingbee’s gone corporate (I mean, I know it did when eHarmony bought it anyway, but this really showed it). And it’s not like the favor/invite site is weddingbee specific. It’s another invite site banking on the WB name.

Sorry guys, this was my fault – I never turned over admin access to the Weddingbee emails, so the new engineers weren’t able to setup the email alias and somehow wires got crossed before that email went out.

Sorry about that!!  It should be fixed shortly…

I am definitely not happy with the solicitation email that I received or the fact that I also had the unscribe thing bounce back…very disappointing. I am also a little disappointed that Weddingbee is becoming just like every other wedding website. Weddingbee was my favorite wedding website by FAR, but I feel like by adding items like the store the site is closing the gap on their ‘unique-ness’ as compared to other sites. I have a ‘real’ email address and a ‘spam’ email address that I give ‘other’ wedding websites so I don’t have to get all their junk email. I know I can go unscribe or whatever, but with things like this solicitation email that I didn’t opt in to and the unscribe issue, I don’t really feel comfortable with Weddingbee having my ‘real’ email address anymore. Sad day. 🙁 As someone who has followed Weddingbee for a couple of years, I am feeling really let down.

It is happening to me too, and it is now 2016. I do NOT want to be on this board any longer! There is no way to unsubscribe to this site!
