I found that etsy had the best selection and prices of anything I saw…so I’m completely unhelpful in answering your question but at least I’m giving your post a little bump. πŸ˜‰

what about making it yourself? This is what somebody else I know did and it was beautiful and exactly like she wanted it

Google “how to make bridal sash” and a ton of things come up.  Last week that was my plan until I went ahead and bought mine on a splurge.  Also, check out ebay.  There are a lot of options on there, too.

@ReyDar64: When I was looking, it didn’t seem daunting, and I am literally the least crafty person in the world.  The only reason I didn’t do it is because I wanted a belt with sparkle that wrapped all the way around, and that’s a lot more work/impossible for me to DIY.  If you’re looking for a sash that basically has an applique in the front, I think it’s pretty straightforward. From what I read, go to a trim store and pick out the ribbon and the trim and then you just sew it on.  Good luck!

You could look at preownedweddinggowns.com or similar sites if you have a particular sash in mind. Granted, they’re previously used, but you may find a deal there.

Good luck!

I know you said aside from etsy..but if it was because of the prices you were finding, I bought mine from Yaneth and Company and absolutely love it. They have several that are $100 or less and they are all custom made so I am sure that they could work within any budget to create something for you.

Amazon is also a great source, and you should also definitely check out the classifieds on weddingbee because there’s tons of brides selling theirs πŸ™‚

@xlittlemissbridex: Yep, and craigslist, ebay, and lets not forget just googling in the images tab!
