For diamonds – Blue Nile, James Allen, and Brilliant Earth are common

For moissanites – MoisanniteCo is a start. I didn’t look into Moissanit so I’m sure other ladies can chime in with some other options

My e-ring is from Brilliant Earth. They have a GREAT return policy and were GREAT about helping my Fiance find just the right ring for me. One guy helped him through the process and even tweeted him after the proposal to see how things went. I would recommend them, especially if you’re trying to eco-conscious. I have a simulated diamond from them, and it is beautiful!

We got mine from Blue Nile… Price and selection were great, we got to put together my ring ourselves, and cusomer service was amazing. Since we’ve started looking at wedding bands, local jewlers have commented that it is a BEAUTIFUL diamond, and that there is no way they could have got us a better price 😉

I second MoissaniteCo. They have a ton of settings. I have some earrings and a necklace from them and they’re great.

I really want to recommend the site we just ordered my ring from, but there’s no English version, and I don’t think they ship outside of Japan.
