I think a few of the bees had good reviews of WedClean. I couldn’t find the others, but Mrs. Tomato wrote her review here. I plan on using them as well. In fact, they just sent me my box for my dress yesterday! I’ll be sure to write a review after (though, I haven’t even sent it out yet!).

I just wanted to say that I got my dress back from WedClean this week.  They did a fantastic job.  There were a couple of sweat stains inside the bodice, and of course the hem was just grey – plus I had a few small mud splashes from our after-the-wedding-day outdoor photography.  Then I procrastinated and didn’t sent it to them for 5 months, so I was a little bit worried.  The dress looks completely new!  They did a beautiful job of getting it clean, and also of packing it.  The UPS return took a couple of extra days because of weather, but they kept me updated on the projected arrival throughout the process.  I know there have been a couple of posts about problems with their service, but I am really happy with them.

Bump.

I saw other brides talking about WedClean recently, so I wanted to push this thread up a bit in hopes that it will help.

I’m sorry that you had a bad experience, Lill!

So, I decided to use wedclean because they were the only ones who allowed you to completely take the dress out of the box. Bottomline…. would I recommend them, no.

I had an outdoor wedding. It snowed the morning of and then rained, but turned out to be a nice afternoon. I wrote them before hand and asked about the stain removal. There was dirt and mud stains on my dress and I wanted to know if they could get it out. They assured me they could.

Well, I’ve attached pictures. I paid 300.00 for everything and they said on their report no change. If they received the dress and knew they couldn’t clean it, send it back to me, let me know that you are unable to clean it. There is no improvement, and I too have a mysterious orange/red stain on my dress now too. I’m at a lost for words.

I have several ‘before’ and after pictures if you’d like to see any, please e-mail me. There are too many to post and they are high quality so they are too big to attach.

Sorry for all of my spelling errors earlier, but I was very heated and extremely upset. Here’s the update and a full story.

I used WedClean in Feb. of 2010 because they were the only company I could find that would allow you to completely remove the dress from the box once you received it back after it was cleaned.

I had an outdoor wedding. It snowed the morning of and then rained, but turned out to be a nice afternoon. I wrote them before hand and asked about the stain removal. There was dirt and mud stains on my dress and I wanted to know if they could get it out. Their “we are sucessful with that type of stain removal” was apparently a problem.

On my ‘review report’ it said on their report “no change.” If they received the dress and knew they couldn’t clean it, send it back to me, let me know that you are unable to clean it. Call me, let me decide if I want to proceed. There is no improvement, and I have a mysterious orange/red stain on my dress now too.  I took pictures of it because it’s long and looks like marker or something of the sort. I don’t know what it is, but I do know it was not there before. I’m at a loss for words.

I sent my picture to another company and they said mud and dirt is one of the easier stains to get out and they cannot believe about WedClean’s costumer services, but I wasn’t the first to complain of the company. So, they told me, if we can’t clean it, we won’t charge you.

My husband wrote WedClean because I was so upset with them. There is ‘nothing’ they can do. This was after waiting for a response. Suddenly, their costumer services was non-exsistent. So, I do not recommend them, as they could not admit their error or even acknowledge a problem.

If you do not have any major stains and only want your dress to be packaged in a pretty box, then WedClean may be for you.  If you want customer service and a prompt response, plus a proper cleaning and storage, then please, use another company.

Contact me if you’d like to see the mysterious stain.

The grand total was far less than I thought my husband had paid for it was only 183.00. So, I guess you get what you paid for. If only we would have forked out the 325.00 for the ‘best review’ company. We were cheap and got what we paid for. Now we are paying for more and still received nothing from Wedclean.

Here’s my last attempt to upload the picture. I hope it works. I tried sizing it down to half size, but it may still be too large.
