I do not know what is wrong with me! I ate clean and worked out consistently from Jan-June (and felt great), but since June I have completely fallen off the fitness wagon… I am just too excited for the wedding, it’s like I just stopped caring… which doesn’t make sense…now is when I should care the most since the wedding is so close. Anyone else experience this?? Any tips for getting back on track in the next few weeks???

Also, doing housework counts as fitness/wellness! So you’re probably not that far off the wagon. 😉

@Mint2Bee: I did the sameeee thing for my engagement photos lol! I ate so healthy and worked out like crazy about 2 months before the shoot, then just stopped caring like 3 weeks before haha! Now if I want to get super toned for something, I just wait a reasonable amount of time before hand. I know my body and what it takes to get where I want to be, so try that? Lol that’s funny though, I thought I was the only one ! Try starting your day with a cleanse. Sometimes I buy them, other times I drink water and green tea like its going out of style. And eat a ton of fruit. That always motivates me to be healthy because I feel so great at the end of the day and then feel guilty eating bad! 🙂

@Mint2Bee: Have you tried not buying it/staying away from vending machines-out of sight out of mind technique. Its a lot harder to indulge if you don’t have access.

@Mint2Bee: sometimes staying on the “straight and narrow” too much kills you. it’s okay to have cheats now and then. it helps to prevent from totally falling off the wagon as you say. jsut get back into moving every day and eating better but don’t neglect or restrict yourself either. life is all about balance.

Ugh, I am in the same boat – this entire week has been bad. Fiance and I went out twice and ate so bad, and it just continued yesterday and no shocker, I’ve felt like absolute crap with zero workout motivation all week. Fiance has felt the same way so we are resolving to get back on the clean eating asap!!!!

Ugh, I know the feeling! Make sure that you give yourself a full cheat day every week, and then get back on the wagon and eat clean for the other 6 days. Move the cheat day around to suit your schedule, and you should be all good!

That was me two weeks ago… it was too hot to run and I was grabbing cheese bagels every afternoon from the coffee shop in my building. Not good.
What has worked for me this week as trying some new workouts (I love the ones from FitnessBlender) and I made a batch of chocolate-zucchini muffins which I’m snacking on during the day and give me a little bit of a sugar-fix (and they are only 120 calories! I don’t even know how that’s possible!)
