My wedding is 20 days away and I am getting both very nervous and excited. Most of the planning is on schedule but I keep having random momement where I get intense butterflies in my stomach and start to worry about what could go wrong. Any tips or resourses on how to stay calm the last few weeks leading up to the wedding? Those of you that have already gone through this, is there anything you would have done differently the month before the wedding?

I hear a lot of people saying they wish they had taken a bag with things like spare batteries, cell phone chargers and cables that you need to download things like pictures from a cell phone to another device.
I’d tell myself to take nothing that goes wrong personally. Dont beat yourself with the idea of ‘if only I’d done it this way’. Things go wrong at wedding and all the planning in the world won’t change that. But I would have gotten a Day of cordinator had I known they exsisted at the time. A few people got in my face over their own issues about weddings or so called ’emergencies’. Would have been nice to have someone else to deal with that stuff or at least be able to keep those people away from me. Either way, do all you can to let the problems roll off your back and embrace the fun stuff that happens. The mishaps feel huge right after the happen, but by the time you are celebrating your 15th anniversary, they are the stuff that funny memories are made of.

I am going to be completely useless because I have zero tips for you, however, I can relate to what you are saying. My husband and I only had a wedding commisioner and two witnesses and I was extremely nervous. I would say that the 2 weeks leading up to the day I felt so sick from nerves. I was nauseous and had the worst insomnia around.
Buuuut, with that being said – when the day came, once I was standing there with my husband it was the most calming position I have ever been in, in my entire life. It was as if there was no one else around.
Best of luck on your big day!

I like the idea of preparing a bag. I can already think of a few things to put in it such as spare contacts. I would definatly feel better if I knew I had some back ups for little things like that. Thanks!
