My fiance and I just booked a venue in Toronto for our wedding next summer!
We’re starting to look at hotels in that area for our guests, and I thought I’d check with you all to see if any of you have used any hotels in downtown Toronto for your wedding guests?
Ideally we’d like to find 2-3 hotels of different price ranges near Union Station or somewhere on/near Yonge so the TTC is accessible to them.

I’m not sure what the budget of your guests is like, but hotels in DT Toronto in summer are never reasonable from my experience. For an upcoming wedding in Toronto we are staying in an Airbnb! I would also suggest that to your guests for those with more modest budgets 🙂

Hmmm… sometimes we used to get a room at the Days Inn on Carlton for birthdays. It’s been a few years, but it was pretty reasonable and right outside College station.
We stayed at the Sheraton for our wedding last year and it was significantly less than the Hilton, so I’d suggest the Sheraton out of those two. It’s an ugly building but a great location!
Also, I was at a concert recently and overheard someone say they were from out of town so they used Hotwire and got a room at the Royal York for just over $100. You could recommend trying that site if they want to take the gamble.

Thank you! Will definitely remind our guests of Airbnb as an option!

Awesome thank you! I just reached out to the Sheraton to ask for their rates. Fingers crossed!

I have stayed at The Doubletree by Hilton. Great rooms and location. Really close to the Eaton Centre & Nathan Phillips Square.
Call around to different hotels and see what kind of price they will give you on a block of rooms.

Novotel in Toronto on The Esplanade usually has decent rates.
