It’s a lot all at once, but if it means more of your guests can attend both, there’s not technically anything wrong with it. Keep in mind for a Sunday wedding they generally end earlier than a Friday/saturday wedding.

The town I live in has a huge university. And anytime there is any kind of event (home football games, parents weekend, graduation) EVERYTHING is booked, prices skyrocket and its overall awful. A friend of mine works at a hotel and he has said, just like a PP said, that a room thats normally $45-70 bucks will be $400-500/night. AND at his they don’t allow you to book just one night… so people who want to come in on a Friday and leave Saturday still have to pay for both nights. Ideally it sounds great so that people can attend both, but that would also mean people who have other graduations (college and high school) may have to make a choice. I’m not trying to persuade you away from it, just tossing out there some things that are often forgotten or overlooked
