Ours is included in our package and since we got a photographer that is just starting, we are getting a very good price. If the album wasn’t included, I would just have one made myself.

We have a GREAT photog and we’re doing the album ourselves.  There are so many sites out there right now that you should be able to do your own with no issues.

For some reason I wasn’t really that concerned with having wedding albums. It wasn’t a top priority for me. In a meeting with the photog he mentioned this and my mom got really upset that I dismissed them =/

I mean, I don’t have one picture album. Everything is online in my folders and if I want pictures framed … I’ll frame them. I guess now it does seem natural to have a picture album …

I think your best bet is to get the very best photog you can afford and go from there.

I would totally go for a great photographer and either put an album together myself or as you said, go for a professional album later.  Make sure you have awesome pictures to put in the said album Wink

I’d say go for the great photographer because you can always make an album later, but you can’t retake the photos

Get the amazing pictures (great photographer). You can make your own album now, and maybe get a professional one in the future if you don’t like your own enough. The photos can’t be redone!

Most photographers will charge family for photos where they keep the rights to them.  The idea is to find a photographer that can give you the negatives so you can have them printed in an album.  We went with Andy King here in San Diego to do our pictures.  He also flies out to other places if need be to do wedding photography.  But of all people, not only was he chosen as one of the top 5 wedding photographers according to 10 News A-list, but we got him at a great price.  He included all 1000 edited pictures on disk for us to keep.

We intend on taking the pictures and having them made into an album on Costco.com.  I believe that a 50 page leather bound wedding album is only $75 or so and each additional page is only $0.99.

That’s the video montage of our wedding through Andy King. I highly recommend him for the prices he offers and the pics he provides.  ***Just make sure that when you click on the link to increase the volume or the video won’t make sense***

I have done my own albums on this site. There are a lot more options then on snapfish or shutterfly.

I had my doubts on the okay photographer we chose but he ended up with pictures that we thought were better than expected.  We paid $2100 for all the pictures on a disk and will have the album printed on the Costco website.

Click on the link below to see our video montage and don’t forget to turn up the music so the video will make sense.

I had a photographer that was not that great and only offered albulms, not electronic pictures.  We ended up firing her and now I have an awesome photographer that I’ll get the electronic pictures.  I hardly have any albulms.  I think i want one in the future, but I’ll probably wait a year or tow and then go back to the photographer that did them and have her design the albulm.

we opted to do the album ourselves but will have rights to all the electronic pictures so we can print copies whenever we want. that allowed us to go w/ a better photographer.

Welcome to Weddingbee!  We opted to work through our photographer for our album — and will be getting two parent albums and four mini albums through her as well.
