    Totally fine! Enjoy the wedding!

With the right accessories, it's ok.

I wouldn't wear that, but it's still appropriate considering it's on the beach.

You need to find another dress.

LOVE the outfit combo, and for some brides I know it wouldn’t be a big deal, but I’d be careful with the color since it is really close to white.

I’d be totally fine if you wore that to my wedding, and I’d appreciate your sense of style! But then again, I’m a pretty laid-back and somewhat non-traditional bride, so I’m sure others will disagree. I really think it depends on your knowledge of the bride and her personality.

You asked, no. Although it’s clearly not a wedding dress the color I think would be tacky/rude to wear at a wedding.

If you have to ask then it is probably best to err on the side of caution

javamonkey:  I think the outfit is really cute, but agree with others that the color is probably not worth it. I wouldn’t mind it at my wedding, but do you want to be worrying about it while you’re there? The response so far on this board alone indicates that even if the bride didn’t mind it there would likely be several guests there giving you the side eye.

Also, as a guest, I’d be annoyed if I sat behind someone wearing a hat that will likely block my view. I’d save the outfit for one of the days/nights you’re hanging out in the beach area, but not the actual wedding.

It’s not remotely bridal, and perfectly beachy. I think it’s fine.

Given that three of the four poll options indicate some version of wearing it, despite the issues, I take it you are pretty well decided already. Even so, I would caution you not to wear it. Surely you must have something other than this dress to wear in the summer? A beach wedding isn’t all that formal, so find a nice coral or pink or sky blue or any-other-color-of-the-rainbow dress instead.

Cute outfit! I wouldn’t care but I’m also super lax when it comes to what people wear. I just think that even though it’s close to white no one will outshine me in my wedding dress. I wouldn’t take the chance of upsetting the bride.

It’s a beach wedding so I’d say it’s totally fine! People are too sensitive about the color issue…and with people these days wearing all sorts of styles/colors/length wedding dresses (or skirts or pants), I think it’s time that “rule” stopped being an issue.

It looks pastel gray to me, not white or ivory. I think some computer monitors may the dress look lighter than it is. My issue is when big hats block the view.
