This is my venue- we will be getting married under this large tree. My question is I feel as though I dont have enough ceremony decor. I will have flower petals lining the aisle and two arrangements in wood planter boxes at the beginnign of the aisle. Do you think an arch similar to this is too much with the tree and takes away fromt he tree being the main focal point of the ceremony?

sometimes less is more. i don’t think you need anything else. the tree and surroundings are really pretty.

Thanks! I agree I think the tree almost serves as an alter itself!

That tree is beautiful! I really think it’s all you need. My sister had a little bit of a similar setup. They just added a few potted flower arrangements. I thought the tree provided a lovely backdrop and nothing more was needed.

I wouldn’t use an arch. I might do some very simple draping.

i wouldn’t add anything. the ceremony space already has a natural beauty that will look stunning in photographs. any arches or other decor will just take away from it – particularly in pics (go ask your photographer, and i bet s/he’ll say that it will make a better picture without extra stuff)
