Whatever you like best! If you want a plain band get one! If you want one with diamonds get one with diamonds. You could really get anything you want and I think it would look great with your ring!

Your e-ring would match pretty much any wedding band out there! Personally, I love the look of solitaires with a diamond eternity or half eternity band. If you want to emphasize your single diamond, you may want to go with a plain band, otherwise go for something more elaborate!

Why do your family members think you’ll regret it? I love mine! Honestly, if that’s what you want….get it! Don’t worry about what other people (your family) think, you’re the one that will be wearing it for the rest of your life. And as for you Fiance, maybe go the jeweler’s together and look at all the bands! That way you can try on lots of different bands and he can see that there are a TON more options out there besides plain gold bands.

a half or full eternity band would be beautiful. keep in mind that even if you get a plain band now, you can always upgrade or add a diamond anniversary band later!

i’m not sure how you would regret a diamond band though.

@Mrs.Kennedy: My e-ring is also a solitaire and I plan on getting two wedding bands. The one I will actually get married with will be an eternity band, and I will also have a plain gold band for days when I either want to dress down my wedding set or I want to wear it by itself so it won’t get in the way or anything. I can’t possibly regret anything if I have both. 😛

Would you be comfortable doing something similar? If not, I say go try on wedding bands and go with the one you like best. Don’t let other people tell you what will be best for YOU. 🙂 If years from now you don’t like the decision you made you can either upgrade or get a new anniversary ring that is more your style.

I got a plain band because i thought it’d take away from my e-ring, but I ended up not liking the look of it, so I ended up getting a new band.  I’ve only been married a few months, and wish I had just gone with my original idea of a diamond band instead of going for what was more “affordable.”  Now, I have the perfect band and although it was more expensive, it’s the band I’ll always wear.  Love it love it.  Get what you know you will love.  Test drive a couple styles.  go ahead and purchase one, wear it when you’re home and make sure you love it.  if you don’t, return it and get another one until you find the perfect one!  Hope this helps!
